The incident happened on Thursday, May 18 in Joseph Reading Park in Manassas, around 4:50 p.m., and just after the suspect tried to pull the same stunt with an 18-year-old man, police said.
When the victim declined, the suspect touched the victim, police said. The parties separated and the suspect walked away before driving off in a dark-colored minivan.
The victim also left the area and contacted the police. No injuries were reported.
While investigating the incident, officers determined the suspect also attempted to solicit an 18-year-old man prior to soliciting the juvenile. When the man declined the offer, the suspect walked away. No physical contact was made during that encounter.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, between 25-30 years old, approximately 5’6”, with a thin build, medium length curly black hair, and a goatee. He was last seen in all black clothing.
